Overview
The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is of the last generation of manual V12 Ferraris, whilst being the first Ferrari to have an aluminium space frame chassis. Increasing structural rigidity by 60% and significantly reducing weight. The amalgamation of the 5.7L dry sump v12 producing 533 bhp / 434 Ft lbs torque, low coefficient of drag at 0.34Cd, and four comfortable seats make the 612 a true grand tourer. Making long distance journeys effortless and enjoyable with a 0-60 of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 199mph. Despite the large size, handling has not been neglected with a Weight distribution of 46% front / 54% rear. Along with aluminium double wishbone suspension to give anti squat and dive geometry tendencies. In turn providing a surprisingly agile and engaging driving experience with the car seemingly shrinking around the driver.
This Example
Registered in June 2005 this 4-owner example has an incredibly low mileage of 21,800 miles, having covered only 3500 miles in the last 10 years. It is a rare example of the 612 being only 1/199 6 speed manual cars worldwide, 1/27 manuals in the UK, and 1/10 Rosso Corsa 322 manual cars worldwide. It has a stunning Crema leather interior paired with Rosso Corsa stitching and contrasting Nero dashboard. It has been thoroughly maintained over the years, receiving a recent service in 12/2023 from DCT Scuderia of just under £10k and 4x new Pirelli P Zero tyres. Over recent years this example has mostly been kept in storage with occasional use to ensure good running.
