Podium Place plays host to our Podium Sim Lounge: where you can drive race cars or relax and have a drink with friends and family.

Developed in collaboration with F1 experts; our racing simulators utilise wrap-around 200º projector screens to awesome effect…

Immersed in the action, you either: mess around on track in a practice session, compete in a race, or take on our monthly time-trial leaderboard challenge.

You'll be strapped into a 4-point harness when the engine starts rumbling underneath you. Once you have the all-clear from the Race Director, you’ll select first gear, feeling the clunk of the transmission, before pressing your foot on the accelerator to leave the garage for the pitlane.

LEADERBOARD LEADERBOARD
You must be 12 years old or over to access the SIM room. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
You must be 5ft or 150 cms tall to use the sim room safely.

You can book your racing session at Podium Place’s Sim Lounge by choosing from a range of driving packages. The packages range from a 20 mins taster session to a 70 mins full race experience, and each package includes access to the simulator, a briefing from a professional racing instructor, and personalized coaching and feedback.

Where is the Sim Lounge located? +
The Sim Lounge is located at Podium Place, 31a Bone Lane, Newbury RG14 5SH.
How can I book the Sim Lounge? +
To book the Sim Lounge, you can visit our website and click on the ‘Sim Lounge’ tab. From there, you can select the date and time you would like to book and complete the booking process. we do also accept "walk ins" if we have availability.
Can i make a group booking? +
Yes. We offer group bookings with race and tournament formats. For group bookings please email ben@podiumplace.co.uk. 
Do I need any previous driving experience to use the simulators at The Sim Lounge? +
No previous driving experience is necessary to use the simulators at The Sim Lounge. Our experienced staff will provide guidance and assistance to help you get started.
How do I use my Gift Card? +
Once you have received your gift card code in an email, use code at checkout by entering the code into the Promocode box.
Are bookings for the Sim Lounge refundable? +
Currently, bookings for the Sim Lounge are non-refundable, but we do allow customers to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before their appointment time.
