Overview
The Ferrari 458 spider is a future classic poised in the perfect era between technology and engagement. With high performance still competitive with modern figures of 561 BHP reaching 0-60 in 3.4 Seconds, and onto a top speed of 198mph. All from a masterpiece normally aspirated F136 Flat plank crank V8 capable of reaching 9000RPM. This is accompanied by the F1 7-speed gearbox capable of sub 50 Millisecond response to input, giving intuitive gear changes that pair seamlessly with the high redline. Producing a synergistic combination of some of the finest driving dynamics of modern supercars.
The spider variant was re-designed such that aerodynamics aren’t compromised with the roof off. It has an extra 50Kg over the coupe which is negligible with it only being 0.1 seconds slower 0-60 than the coupe due to the efficient aerodynamic design that only gave minuet increase in aerodynamic drag in comparison to the coupe counterpart.
